Our projects are sourced based on timely and relevant issues situated in appealing locations with interesting and varied activities running across many areas.
They are developed through local partner organizations which are run by local people, working together with community members on the initiative with their expertise in the area.
Therefore these projects are designed to support and build the capacity of local scientists, individuals and organizations that are working to create innovative restoration efforts and enhance economic recovery of communities. |
We support projects with minimal or no government/private sector support to ensure their long‐term sustainability. A substantial percentage of the revenue generated from visiting volunteer tourists is directly channeled to the projects and local community to build up communities to eventually manage projects that are self‐sustaining to create projects and volunteer activities with a solid, self‐sufficient economic base.
We directly get involved in
